Great Expextations
After reading Great Expextations,which was written by Charles Dickens,l have learned that surroundings have a great effect on ours lives,but we couldn't change with others blindly.
In the story,not only was Pip poor,but also he didn't get much education.fortunately ,his friends is nearly the same as he.It means nothing to them,because in their opinion,this is the true face of life. However,once Pip knew that he had Great Expextations,he couldn't stand any more.From then on,he felt ashamed when he stayed with his friends,which evidently was dangerous to his success.
It's a big weak of people to keep up with others blindly.When others are rich,we hope we could be rich,too.However,if others were poor,we wouldn'tcare the money at all.We won't feel ashamed because of our own's foolish,instead,we will feel ashamed as a result of more foolish than friends. This is a problem which is called "People Compared With People'.
In my opinion,it's better for us to live on our own ways than keep up with others blindly.
